Adjusting the Resmed f20 Airtouch? - NewUserOK - 05-06-2018

Have had erratic experience with new CPAP. Last night awakened several times by air leaks. Although straps seem tight. Trying to diagnose reason for leaks. Suggestions from someone who has successfully used this mask?

Hi NewUserOK - Welcome

Having the straps too tight can cause leaks, not to mention major discomfort.  Try starting out with the straps loose and in get in your normal sleeping position.  Turn on the Mask Test. Using one of your hands,  position the mask where it isn't leaking.  Now, take your other hand and remove the slack from the straps.

I'm also providing a link to the Wiki Mask Primer to provide further information.

Good luck.
