Replacement SD Card - drbones - 10-02-2018 Hello All, I acquired a used S9 as a back/travel machine that does not have an SD Card. Is there any reason why I can't use a high quality (samsung) generic SD Card or MicroSD card with an Adapter? I have a few lying around, but I'm new to the S-9 and didn't know if I would cause problems with an "Unapproved" SD Card. Thanks in advance! Dr.Bones RE: Replacement SD Card - Crimson Nape - 10-02-2018 Hi drbones - Any SD card, 2Gb to 32Gb, will work. RE: Replacement SD Card - drbones - 10-02-2018 Thanks Crimson Nape! Or, just more history before data is overwritten? Thanks, John RE: Replacement SD Card - Crimson Nape - 10-03-2018 Neither. The Resmed S9 was designed to use 2Gb of storage before overwriting the oldest data first. The A10 uses a 4Gb card with the same protocol for the data. I have no idea about Philips machines. RE: Replacement SD Card - pholynyk - 10-03-2018 I've read that the Resmed S9 card only holds either one week or one month of flow data before it overwrites - depending, I think, on when it was made. So you need to upload data fairly regularly. The AS10 holds a year and a half of data on a 2 GB card before it approaches full. I retired mine before it got completely full, so I don't know if it then starts to overwrite old data |
