Oxygen Concentrator - RLSdss - 11-23-2018

Does the VA supply an Oxygen Concentrator? If so what are the requirements?

IMO I think they can do this. To qualify, one aspect is proof of 88% or less oxy for over 5 minutes overnight. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but that's how I recall it.

That's the requirement that Medicare uses. The VA has their own set of rules. Not sure what they are though.

I'm interested in VA rules. Thanks

It wouldn't hurt to call them to ask what the requirements are. Just google Veterans Administration in your area if you don't readily have a number.

Do they still have the x number of pushups in a minute requirement? Only kidding... Coffee having flashback of when I was decades younger. Oh-jeez

They do. My brother in law got one from the VA. They checked his blood oxygen level at rest and then after walking.
