Settings Review - jminminnesota - 01-11-2019

If some one could take a look at my results and make any suggestions that they think are needed, I would appreciate it. I don't have any issues now as you can see by the AHI and I feel good during the day. I think I have it set properly but you never know.

Using ASV auto mode at EPAP min 5.0, PS min 3.0, PS max 17.0 you seem to be getting very good results, but clearly don't come close to the PS max or maximum pressure. The pressure support is pretty active, but PS remains below 10 cm and the EPAP pressure is mostly 6-9 cm. All respiratory statistics are normal in a good range (tidal volume, minute vent BPM, I:E timing). These are excellent results, and the machine is producing the therapy you need. While you could turn down PS max to 12 and limit maximum pressure to 24, there is not need to do so.

I'm reluctant to suggest any changes given the good results and how your feel. I think you could play with slightly higher PS min and see if that improves comfort and lowers any flow limitation and hypopnea, but don't go overboard. I'm talking about taking it between 3.4 and 4.0, and just dial it back if it doesn't feel better. It looks like you're getting excellent results, and we often see this with the Resmed Aircurve 10 ASV.
