Rainout! - DarciWantsToSleep - 03-31-2019

Good morning!

I woke up by being water boarded by my CPAP this morning. I don’t understand what happened since I have a heated tube. I have an autoset air 10 for her. I have the humidifier set at 6 and the tube at 86. My room is not particularly cold. I’ve taken things apart for a clean and dry today.

Any things I should look out for going wrong?  Once things dry I will plug my hose in to make sure that is it warming up and make sure I didn’t change some setting by mistake....

Best,

Darci

It could be a defective hose heater, or maybe the ambient humidity has risen over the past 24 hours and your current setting is about two or three 'stops' too high.  Could still be a combination of cooler room, even by a couple of degrees, and relative humidity which, believe it or not, rises even when temperatures drop. Could just be a faulty connection at the swivel joint where the electrical contacts are.

Thanks.

I’ll check the temp of the hose tonight and the connection. Maybe drop the humidity back to auto...
