Mask Compatibility? - aehjr - 01-07-2013 Does anyone know if Respironics masks will work on the hose on a ResMed device? Thinking about buying a used ResMed S9 Autoset while waiting for my medical care (new sleep study, evaluation of results, decision by doctor on settings and new CPAP or not) to "work its way through the system." I keep 1-2 used masks on hand and replace that stock each time my DME provider gives me a new one in case of breakage. Wondering if they would work on the S9 or if I have to buy a new mask out of pocket. RE: Mask Compatibility? - trish6hundred - 01-07-2013 Hi aehjr, Yes, that should work, most hoses and masks are compatible these days. Hang in there for more responses to your post. Best of luck to you. RE: Mask Compatibility? - zonk - 01-07-2013 you can use any mask of your choice any mask will work with any machine when using the S9 ... make sure to select the correct type of mask leak rates calculated different with nasal and full face masks S9 does the calculation and display unintentional leak (mask or/and mouth leak) hers is S9 setup shown in pictures and video http://www.apneaboard.com/resmed-s9-cpap-setup link to Resscan down load and interpretation guide (see post #1) http://www.apneaboard.com/forums/Thread-How-to-ResScan-CPAP-Reporting-Software-current-version-4-2 RE: Mask Compatibility? - aehjr - 01-07-2013 Thank you very much for the info.
