Dreamstation auto 2B compliance code - Marshapnea - 05-03-2019
Hello,
I have this compliance code on my Dreamstation, so I assume that I will be beat soundly. Probably death by asphyxiation or screamed at by my DME/Doc's.... Probably the DME Respiratory Therapist ratted me out for changing my pressure...

There is no law that prohibits you from changing your own pressure.

From the technical guide,
Compliance
This screen displays the start day and the total number of days
used when the sessions were greater than 4 hours. This
screen also displays a check code number you can use to
validate that the data provided to you is the data taken from this
screen.
i don't have any idea where "2B" comes from....
It seems like it's a validation number

Except that if you were to perish, I Would bet your insurance would firstly check to see if your settings differed from what the doctor prescribed and then would null and void your policy. I have been told this more than once and is why I wont adjust my pressure setting myself without his concurrence.
