N30I and F30 Nose Configuration - macheta - 07-07-2019

Understand these are two completely different items. One is a nasal mask the other is a full face mask. Based on the reviews of the F30, the nose portion of the mask is difficult for some people to get use to. Regarding the configuration of the nose area, is this the same setup as the N30I?

The medium cushion for the N30i and the medium cushion for the F30 have a very similar appearance.

The major difference I find is that the N30i is much easier to adjust with regard to fit because only the nasal piece needs to be aligned for a good seal. There is nothing else to worry about sealing The F30 has 4 straps with 2 upper and 2 lower. I find it a bit trickier to get the F30 adjusted since the upper straps are set below the nasal cushion, whereas the N30i headpiece attaches at the cushion.

But, the medium nasal cushions on both are similar in appearance and size.

I like both masks but almost exclusively use the N30i.

I've not used the nasal 30, so I can't compare to that.

IMHO the F30 can be best compared to the Amara View, except the F30 has a strip of silicone between the nostrils... which can easily displaced to block a nostril (which is my problem).
