New Resmed machine- keep old and new data - goodn - 08-21-2019

I am getting a new ResMed machine because the wifi stopped working and the company wants to replace it. I have months and months of data via OSCARĀ from the card of my old machine. The new machine will have a different serial numer etc. Will the new card simply add to my old data or do I have to start a new OSCAR thread. I would like, if possible to keep the data in continuity

You can just use the new card from the new machine in your existing CPAP profile. The data will be combined (unless you want to put it in a new profile). Assuming the new machine is the same type as the old, what I would do is use a new SD card in the new machine. That way, if you ever have to rebuild all your data from the SD card, you will still have a card from your old machine.

If I were upgrading from one type of machine to another (APAP to BiLevel for example), I might create a new profile.
