CPAPS with Removable Modem - Lydia - 09-04-2019

For medical reasons I do not want a modem in my machine. The Dream Machine modem can be removed. How about other machines?

Lydia, the CPAP machines from Philips and Resmed transmit results once per day just after noon. In terms of EMFs while you sleep, neither produces electromagnetic fields that should be a concern. The Philips modem is removable, and the Resmed can be placed in Airplane Mode or permanently removed if you open the case. I think this is not a source to be concerned with. You may want to avoid the use of a heated tube which uses a resistance coil to create heat. http://www.apneaboard.com/forums/Thread-EMF-and-CPAP
