Oscar download looks/sounds weird - Fabby - 09-26-2019

  • I am not making this up. I started by trying to transfer my sleepyhead data to oscar. I couldn't make it work. So I tried to get Oscar set up and twice I encountered something called np that said I needed to download it. I couldn't figure it out and started over. I got the np download again as well as a pink poodle wearing sunglasses and holding a cocktail. Is this really part of the oscar setup, or did I get into one of the ads that seem easily mistaken for something to do with oscar. BTW, I never did get it setup. Too many of the directions seem to be "programmer speak" but are a mystery to me. Any suggestions?

Did you download it from the official site? https://www.sleepfiles.com/OSCAR/

It sounds to me like you've got a corrupted version from a non-official distributor. I suggest you delete it and start again. In the meantime you should probably run a security scan using Malware Bytes or similar.

When you're ready to get the correct version, please RTFM which you can find here: http://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.php?title=OSCAR_Installation Read it right through before you start, paying particular attention to migrating your SleepyHead data.
