Airsense 10 - gregf69 - 10-22-2019 I have been using an Airsense 10 for a couple of years. What amount of time can i expect on the hour meter before it should be serviced or replaced? How long do the units last? I change filter about once a month and change the nasal pillows and heated air line every other month. Thanks for any insight you can provide. RE: Airsense 10 - DeepBreathing - 10-22-2019 G'day Gregf69. Welcome to Apnea Board. Here in Oz we can get an extended warranty up to five years on these machines, so there's a reasonable expectation they will last substantially longer than that. In terms of hours you could do a rough calculation at 8 hours/night x 365 nights/year x 5 years = 14,600 hours as a minimum. RE: Airsense 10 - OpalRose - 10-23-2019 And unfortunately here is the US, the warranty period is 2 years, but the machine should last substantially longer. Your insurance coverage, if you have it, will replace a machine every 5 years. It appears you are doing all the right things, like replacing the filter, and keeping everything clean, but sometimes these machines go bad. |
