ResMed S9 AutoSet - Texas Dave - 11-27-2019

Recently my ResMed S9 AutoSet has displayed a warning that the motor has exceeded it's life expectancy. It is still working fine right now, is it possible to replace the motor or will the entire unit need to be replaced?.

I'm sure Resmed keep spares for a long time after the unit is superseded - I had the motor in mine replaced last year when it was nearly five years old. Supplier #27 and Supplier #28 are listed as repair shops. I suggest you get a quote and compare that against the cost of a new Airsense Autoset from one of the discount suppliers (eg Supplier #2 or Supplier #33).

In my experience once one thing goes wrong with a device (be it electronic, white goods or cars) others inevitably follow and you end up buying a new one to avoid ongoing repair costs and inconvenience.

Thank you for your quick response, I will check with the suppliers you mentioned.    Thanks
