Intro + DreamStation Performance Error Codes - pennstump - 12-20-2019

Hi. I'm new to the board.  I was diagnosed with OSA 2 years ago.  I was prescribed a DreamStation Auto that I used for about 4 months.  During that time, I dropped about 30lbs and my symptoms started to disappear so I stopped using the machine.  Fast forward to today, about 20lbs are back on and the symptoms returned.

I pulled the APAP out of my closet and it seems to work fine, but when I run an internal check on the Performance tab under Provider, I get a failure and the following error codes:

A
726.9325.1858.2388.9512
B
244.2482.6074.2814.2054
C
744.1416.5921.2585.3674
D
374.8437.1381.0748.5524
E
752.2216.4020.8301.0747

Like I said, all seems well and there aren't any problems as far as I can tell.  I could get a new one, but that would take a new Dr., a new sleep test, and probably a new machine since I switched insurance since then.  I'd like to know if this one is still going to work for me, I guess at least for the mean time.

I read on a few other threads that EncorePro can decode these values.  I don't have EncorePro or a SQLServer instance to install it onto.  Could someone please plug these into their software and let me know what they mean?

Thanks!

They are not normally error codes but just stats from the machine. If there was an issue with your device it would show in the normal screens. You would not need to go into the provider menu nor require encore pro

Take a look at this thread where I decoded the codes for another user I did not know what they contained until I tried

DreamStation Performance Error Codes - tango - 01-30-2020

Hello to All,

I have a question about Peformance Check (not passed) on my DS Auto (upgraded to v1.8, not switchable again to 1.1) :

I tried with EncoreProBasic, but to no avail. I have the following figures/numbers :

A 493 0622 0648 9035 4290
B 474 8437 7518 2802 4193
C 661 2785 0438 1026 2863
D 520 7312 2891 1764 5490
E 528 8706 9643 2606 0371

What could it be ?

My personal experience with DS especially but with other systems also is bad (despite the good figures of AHI <2; I wake up too early and cannot sleep again. I am "used" to it now and if I stop therapy it's even worse. I tought that v.1.8 would enhance the algorythm of the DS but I am not convinced at all.

Any hints are welcome.

Thanks sleepers

The performance check is not a test of the machine it is a means of getting the latest settings and usage to a provider there will be nothing to worry about here

What about when they are all flagged with a red X FAILED above the A B C D or E and a string of digits?  I ran the check several times on a Dreamstation ASV. How can you tell if it is a minor problem or something serious?  The machine seems to operate OK but in auto humidification mode it set the humidifier to 4 and depleted the reservoir.  It also puts out a different set of codes every time I try the test.
