Best night of the first six. - Hvywgt - 01-06-2020

Greetings all.  I fell into this forum almost two months ago and found it invaluable.  When I was standing in line waiting to pick up a cheap laptop to run Oscar on, I received a call from my Sleep Doctors office.  I picked up my AirCurve 10 ASV on Dec 31st just in time to dodge a big first bill due to fulfilling my out-of-pocket in September.   When I picked up the machine they told me to bring it back to my January 2nd Epap education appointment.  I felt confident enough to tell them to cancel the appointment as I had been educated from numerous posts on the forum.
Please hopefully find attached last nights screen shots.
Again, thanks to all who helped a noob by letting him peruse posts to answer his many questions .

Hvy

Hvy, you are successfully using ASV with EPAP min 9.0 and PS 3.0 to 15.0. Your machine is very active and I think your PS min rarely comes into play.  If you are comfortable and satisfied with results, there is nothing more I can do as you have achieved efficacy.  Well done!  If there is anything I can suggest it is to slowly increase the minimum PS to see if you can dampen the machine response a little.  I think your optimum PS min might be around 5.0. That's a guess so take your time getting there if you make any changes, and always go with what "feels" best.  You have apparently used our past posts to optimize your treatment and get the treatment you need, so all I can add is, you have achieved very good results and it would be interesting to hear some of the back-story on how you got here.

Hvy, just a note to say welcome and congratulations on this terrific start to your therapy for apnea. Your post is a great reminder that we never know when some comment we make might help someone, so as your experience continues, don't hesitate to pay it forward by posting tips for other readers!

Wow, that PS chart is jumping! Mine looks so tame in comparision!  Too-funny

That’s what us with complex Apnoea have to deal with  Laugh-a-lot

That Ipap pressure looks a lot like my first night, it settled down to look pretty stable after about a week - maybe me adjusting to it or vice versa, hope the same happens for you
