New ResMed--Can We Use old SD card? - SideSleeper - 03-02-2020 The VA just came through today with a new ResMed Air Sense 10 Autoset to replace his 6 year old S9. We recently replaced the SD card in the S9--can we use it in the new machine? They didn't provide a new card. If so what needs to be done? RE: New ResMed--Can We Use old SD card? - Gideon - 03-02-2020 I would format the card after making a zip of the entire card to preserve the data that is currently there. RE: New ResMed--Can We Use old SD card? - SideSleeper - 03-02-2020 Thanks Bonjour. I have both of us on OSCAR--do I need to have a new account for him--keep it separate so easier to look at and make corrections if needed. RE: New ResMed--Can We Use old SD card? - Sleeprider - 03-02-2020 It is easy to create a new profile, and you definitely need a new one for him to keep your data separate. I manage my data and my wife's in separate profiles, and sometimes create a profile for others that have provided data for one reason or another. We even suggest using new profiles for the same person using different machines. RE: New ResMed--Can We Use old SD card? - Gideon - 03-02-2020 what he said RE: New ResMed--Can We Use old SD card? - SideSleeper - 03-02-2020 SD problem solved--he re-read the directions and found the card. I will create a new profile--figured that was the only way to go. We each have our own separate profile now. Thanks for the suggestions on the profiles, Sleeprider. RE: New ResMed--Can We Use old SD card? - Sleeprider - 03-02-2020 I hope I didn't step on our OSCAR Project Manager with my response. Fred has been a driving force for advancing the software and building a great development team. As far as profiles go, all you need is a user-name. All other profile information is optional and OSCAR automatically tracks the data by machine serial number under the profile user-name. |
