Mask leak question - Barbara.Levitan - 03-10-2020

How can I go from 100% to 55% in one week?  I wake up from dry mouth and noisy mask.   Huhsign

Huhsign We need some details Barbara. I assume you're using MyAir (or the Philips equivalent)? And which model mask do you have - there are lots of different Dreamwares including nasal and full face.

We're good, but we can't read your mind. Smile

Actually, you're great. I am using the DreamWare full face (which is not really full face, it sits below the nostrils and over the mouth) and the Phillips DreamStation Auto PAP.

You may already know all this, but I found this video covers a lot of potential issues.

I've been struggling with this myself recently. Part of the answer was that recent weight loss was changing the fit of the mask.

Don't know if this is the answer for you, but I tried small, med and large F20 AirFits and none worked worth a bean.

I went to the F20 AirTouch and very seldom now have any leak problems.

I have experimented since going over to the AirTouch with the silicone masks with the same failures.

My face and silicone masks just do not work together.

I've seen where this is not uncommon.

Just a thought.
