how increase humidification in Resmed airsense 10 - hegel - 03-30-2020

It's the damndest thing: the humiidifier setting that should appear on my use screen isn't there. It's possible to DME I last saw deleted it? but why? I initially was able to adjust humidity levels very easily. However given current events my mind may be playing tricks. any help?

A video confirms that there should be a humidity level setting on my screen menu.

I was also shown a way to get into the clinical menu but I can't recall how now (press the home button and wheel for three seconds?) Maybe humidity levels are in there now.

Thanks

Hi hegel,

To access the Clinicians Menu:

Press and hold the dial and the Home button for three seconds.
The Home screen is displayed with an unlock icon in the top right corner of the screen.

Once there, highlight Settings.  Once in settings, turn dial to Comfort.  Scroll down to Climate Control.
Select either manual or auto.
The manual setting will allow you to set Tube temperature and Humidity.

To exit the Clinical Menu:
Press and hold the dial and the Home button for three seconds.
Select Exit Clinical Menu from the Home screen.

You can order a Clinicians Manual for your machine which will explain in detail.

Thanks, got it! and now do I leave it in manual? I assume so.

That's up to you.  What did you have it set on prior, and was it working for you?

You could try the Auto setting, and change it back to manual if it does't work for you.

Automatic adjustment
The humidifier and ClimateLineAir heated air tubing are controlled by the Climate Control algorithm to deliver constant humidity and temperature outputs. The system adjusts automatically to changes in:
 ambient room temperature and humidity values
 flow due to pressure changes
 flow due to mask or mouth leak.

As I said, order the manual, it will explain in more detail.

I leave mine in the auto mode and it seems to do fine.
