This review is for a full length mattress wedge. Wedges are recommended for people who suffer from GERD. If you have sleep apnea and night time GERD, raising your torso can keep you from aspirating reflux into your lungs. For years I used the small kind of wedge that sits on top of the bed and bends you from the waist up to raise your torso. By morning I usually would find I had slid down quite a ways on the wedge, losing the benefit of the wedge. I resisted buying a full length mattress wedge due to the cost, but was gifted enough to get one at Christmas to buy one. So I have had this full length wedge for almost four months. I think now it was one of the best investments I made. It was $120 from Amazon (for a full size). It is much more comfortable than the small wedge (no rolling off the sides or sliding down) and it works better for GERD as you don't lose the angle sliding down the mattress. The drawback for some might be that your bed is higher and if you sleep with a partner, they will have to be OK with sleeping at an angle (head a little higher than usual). Other than that, no problems with this item. It took no "getting used to." It works as advertised, is durable, easy to install. It comes in two compressed rolls. Just unroll them onto the box spring, put your top mattress back on. You're done.
