SOMNOsupport soft for SOMNOtron 4 - styler2000 - 05-22-2020
Hello everyone,
I recently got a SOMNOtron 4 device.
I would like to connect it to my PC, but I can't find SOMNOsupport software. Google doesn't help.
Maybe someone have this old software on the computer or CD?

You can find software in the Private Files and Links Forum for some of the Weinmann somnosoft devices. I don't see the
Somnotron4 you list, but it may be compatible.

You are right there is no software for my device.
I will try WEINMANNsupport soft later when I get the USB to RS485 converter maybe it will do.
But still, someone have the original SOMNOsupport soft for my device?

Hello Everyone,
"WEINMANNsupport" and "Prisma" soft not working with "SOMNOtron 4" via USB-RS485
But, frankly I'm used non-original converter I have no idea where to get original converter "WM 93318"
I'm lookig for "SOMNOsupport" old soft. Please report to this topic or to me in PM if you have this.

I’ve been trying to connect SOMNObalance e (without SD) to my PC for a week now.
WEINMANNsupport and prismaTS are installed on my PC, both programs do not connect to the device via a non-original usb-rs485 China-adapter.
Who has experience with the settings?

Your brand of CPAP seems to be more common in Europe than here in the U.S.A. An answer to your question may take a while.

Crimson Nape, I understand this, but I do not lose hope.
I am writing here not only to ask questions, I want here to have a guide for setting up SOMNO devices.
Looks like I found a solution for WEINMANNsupport to work with non-original adapters USB-RS485.
Follow these steps:
1. Install WEINMANNsupport software.
2. Open file MCC_Comm.cfg located inside Config folder after installation using a text editor (ex. Notepad++).
(Common location: "C:\Program files\Weinmann\Config\MCC_Comm.cfg").
3. Search for FastConverterboxCheck string.
4. Replace val = "1" by val = "0" for this line.
Result: <FastConverterboxCheck val = "0" />
5. Save file and close text editor.
6. Launch WEINMANNsupport and select the COM port in the options.
7. Start import from device.
8. Click YES on dialog window.
9. Enjoy.
This helped connect to SOMNObalance e, but does not help with SOMNOtron 4.
So I'm still looking for SOMNOsupport old soft.
Also please find pinout for RS485 connector on WEINMANN SOMNO devices:
PIN1: Analog ch2
PIN2: +12V
PIN3: RS485 A
PIN4: RS485 B
PIN5: GND (don't use for RS485!)
PIN6: Analog ch1
