O2 question - GeNomeZ - 07-04-2020 Good afternoon everyone, My at home sleep study diagnosis included mention of O2 nadir of 84%. Should I consider getting a Pulse Oximeter to import data into Oscar alongside my APAP? I don’t know what’s considered bad so I thought I’d ask first. If so, what model do you recommend that is good with Oscar? Thank you! RE: O2 question - Sleeprider - 07-04-2020 You are routinely hitting 600 mL tidal volume and over 6 L/min minute vent with a low AHI. I’m sure your SpO2 nadir looks nothing like your test before therapy. If you’re curious or concerned get a recording oximeter, but I’d bet you rarely go below 92. Then I won’t bother with adding something else that might making sleeping uncomfortable or the added cost. Thanks Sleeprider! RE: O2 question - SarcasticDave94 - 07-04-2020 I'd agree not to complicate things unless necessary. FWIW my waking oxy shows 90-92 fairly often on my CONTEC CMS 50DL which does not record. I took it with me the last doc visit and it showed 1 number off their oximeter briefly then it showed the same reading. If you see low 90's while awake, you might have something to think on IMO.
