What caused me to wake up and have some water in my mask and hose ?

Most likely moisture condensed on the wall of the tube, especially if your room is colder than the humidified air. Other possibility is water from an overfilled humidifier tank. Solutions are easy.

Be sure to route tube up from the CPAP so any water drains back. Use a fleece tube cover and/or heated tube to prevent condensation. Consider reducing humidity setting on the CPAP or don’t sleep in a refrigerator.

I use a lanyard to suspend the tube from the headboard, heated tube, fleece cover and never have problems.
