Breathing in at one pressure and breathing out at same pressure. There is nothing to separate. If your friend had EPR set, then you would see a separate EPAP line as that would be a different expiratory pressure. RE: oscar question - Crimson Nape - 10-02-2020 Since both pressures are one and the same, what would you achieve in separating them? Thank you very much RE: oscar question - sheepless - 10-02-2020 since epr is off, only ipap pressure is relevant, so if seeing the green line is bothersome you could turn the epap line off to reveal the red ipap pressure line. The IPAP and EPAP are both the same pressure in the screenshot so there is nothing to separate. Your friend would have to turn on EPR on her machine in order to get a different EPAP pressure on the charts. For example, if she set EPR to 1 you would get 2 lines because the IPAP and EPAP pressures would now be different. RE: oscar question - Dugy40 - 10-02-2020 Thank you all. I understand now. I thought something was wrong since there wasn’t two lines. Thank you very much for the clarity and help. Doug. Ps. Trying to get her to join here. RE: oscar question - Sleeprider - 10-02-2020 Your friend is not using EPR. There is only pressure, no IPAP/EPAP. Are you saying epr is not good to use? Thank you Doug RE: oscar question - Gideon - 10-02-2020 SleepRider is not saying that, just the specific fact that without EPR there is only pressure. |
