Loewenstein Prisma <> OSCAR - Camera Obscura - 01-03-2021

Hello,
Can someone give me a clue how to import my data card info in OSCAR please?
My APAP is an Loewenstein Prisma

RE: Loewenstein Prisma <> OSCAR - Crimson Nape - 01-03-2021

The OSCAR Wiki lists Löwenstein/Weinmann as partly supported by OSCAR.  I believe that the newer models have changed the data format.
The problem is that this brand of CPAP is mainly popular in your area and not anywhere else in the world.  Because of this, the OSCAR development team doesn't have a Löwenstein/Weinmann to use for testing.  On the chance you might be able to read your data, I have listed the steps below.  Since you didn't specify an O/S type, the steps are written for a Windows platform.  All platforms are basically the same, just different nomenclature.
    Required equipment:
  • SD card 2-32Gb in size
  • An SD card reader - either built-in to your PC or a USB connection type.
  • A PC with OSCAR installed.
    Steps:
  • Make sure the SD card was in the CPAP during your sleep session.
  • Remove the SD card from the CPAP and insert it into your card reader that is already connected to your PC.
  • Open OSCAR
  • If you do not have a user profile, create one.
  • Using a user profile, select the CPAP Importer from the Welcome screen.
  • The first time you import, select Choose a folder and select the drive that represents your SD card.  Do not go any further and select any file on the card.  OSCAR needs just the location of the card itself.
  • Select OK and let OSCAR import your data. (If OSCAR can read it.)

That should be it.  Good luck!

I thank you for your extensive response.
I will have to try importing again.
If I can help the ORCAR team by submission of the whole structure and content of my data card I will be more than happy to do so. I can zip it up and mail it.
I do think that the Loewenstein machine is very well designed piece of APAP equipment...
Take care!

By chance, are you a programmer? The OSCAR team would welcome any coding help on your CPAP.

RE: Loewenstein Prisma <> OSCAR - Camera Obscura - 01-03-2021

Sorry to have to say no,  am a network engineer but hate coding!
I can help out on other fronts maybe. Translations English, French, Dutch.
Mabe it worth mentioning that I run an internet dedicated server since 2012 on which I have room and bandwidth available.
Running a https secured site could be possible ....

RE: Loewenstein Prisma <> OSCAR - A KLERK - 01-03-2021

Here is a response from the OSCAR Translations Team Coordinator:
We are always interested in translators! For French, however, there are already three translators. You could send a PM to FaureCourtet, who coordinates them...
For Dutch we have only one: me. You may please send me a PM too: A KLERK. Maybe we can speak Dutch together Smile and find better translations where needed.
I don't think we need an English translator...  Coffee

As far as server space is involved, I suggest contacting SuperSleeper by sending him another PM...

RE: Loewenstein Prisma <> OSCAR - oliep - 02-01-2023

I am a programmer and I recently was prescribed a Prisma 20a. Anyone willing to onboard me/give me a brief introduction to the codebase? I work with C, C++, ObjC and Swift.
