Analysis Help [chillydip therapy data] - chillydip - 01-07-2021

Can I get some opinions on this data? Complicated with Chemo treatments. NUmbers go to hell after each treatment. Have increased the min pressure to 9 and may go further tonight. Cervical pillow helping

Would appreciate some other opinions on this data. Complicated due to chemo treatments. Numbers go to hell after each treatment. This one's a little prolonged. Historical Normal AHI is 5 or less. Cervical pillow helping. Some dry mouth but not Sahara level. Thanks.

I deleted the link because it was about 80 lines lines long and did not work. Are you trying to attach an Oscar chart?

I have merged chillydips threads.

Chillydip, the chart you posted uses the older version of Oscar and I recommend you upgrade to the new version 1.2.0. https://www.sleepfiles.com/OSCAR

The current chart has clusters of CA and H with occasional OA events. Respiration appears variable throughout. The pressure range seems appropriate, I don't know what Flex setting you are using. It may help to get a closer look at the flow rate in 2-3 minute segments so we can interpret what is going on. The zoom level needs to be close enough to see the wave form. You indicate you are on chemotherapy. Are there any pain killers or opioids?

OK. Updated Oscar. No opioids / pain killers. Brain tumor so they're messing around with the nervous system. I haven't posted charts in the past so I'm a little in the dark as to how to get you something useful. Thanks.

While in OSCAR, go to the Daily Screen.  Press F12 to take the screenshot.  To post the screenshot here, use the Full editor and not the Quick editor.  This can be accomplished by pressing the Reply button.  At the bottom of the editor is where you select the screenshot on your computer (Browse) and upload (Add attachment) it to the Apneas Board server.  You will need to Insert it into the post.

The chart provides more information, but when events are mostly central and hypopnea, it's hard to guide you on how to respond in terms of settings. CPAP is not particularly well suited to treating centrals, and non-obstructive hypopnea. if you can give us some close-up looks at the flow chart it will help evaluate whether we are looking at obstruction or central. An easy way to create a zoom is to go to the Daily chart and click on events. At the bottom is a slider. If you move that to the left it zooms closer. Zoom in until the counter on the right is at 3 or 4 minutes, and then scroll the chart horizontally to anyplace on the time that you want, and take a screenshot. Let's see what's there.
