Sleep report didn't measure for RDI. Can I still calculate the RDI? - CentralApneaUser909 - 01-10-2021

My home sleep study had the chest strap, abdomen strap, nasal cannula and pulse oximeter. It didn't measure RDI it just did AHI.

I'm going to request the report so I can look at it. Is it possible to calculate the RDI from it? Considering they didn't include that.

Yes, RDI = AHI + RERA.

Sleep reports in the UK usually don't use RERAs, so I am curious as to what a RERA looks like on a graph?

Hopefully by requesting my report and looking at the data, I could find out whether I have UARS too.

If you can obtain a copy of your sleep report, post it here.  I'm not sure how much a home test will show.

This information from our wiki on flow limitation and Rera may help.
