Dried Mucus after cpap in the morngin - silversnore - 02-14-2021

I have been using cpap for several years with no complications.  My ahi has averaged 0.3 for a long time, it has gone up to about 0.5 (I have no cause for alarm for this rise).  My problem is that I am awakening with a nose full of dried mucus (Buggers, I hate this offensive term).  I have a bi pap equipped with humidifier and use a full tub of water every night.  I do use heat with the treatment.  (In writing this, thinking that I will turn down the heat to see if that helps).  Any help on this is appreciated, thanks in advance.

Keep your nasal passages lubricated by using a saline nasal spray before bed and make sure you blow your nose before masking up.

I've found that Xlear nasal spray, which contains Xylitol keeps mucus from drying up. I also use Ayr nasal gel.

Also, a stand alone room humidifier is always a plus.
