Dried Mucus after cpap in the morngin - silversnore - 02-14-2021 I have been using cpap for several years with no complications. My ahi has averaged 0.3 for a long time, it has gone up to about 0.5 (I have no cause for alarm for this rise). My problem is that I am awakening with a nose full of dried mucus (Buggers, I hate this offensive term). I have a bi pap equipped with humidifier and use a full tub of water every night. I do use heat with the treatment. (In writing this, thinking that I will turn down the heat to see if that helps). Any help on this is appreciated, thanks in advance. I've found that Xlear nasal spray, which contains Xylitol keeps mucus from drying up. I also use Ayr nasal gel. Also, a stand alone room humidifier is always a plus. |
