ResScan Software - date ranges? - mmsj4 - 04-23-2013

Hello, I am fairly new user of a CPAP machine. I have been trying to get adjusted to the right mask, pressure,etc...over the past couple of months. I have been to see my respiratory specialist multiple times and each time they have downloaded my data off the SD card. I was checking online how other people are doing with different masks and pressure and realized that I could download ResScan software. SuperSleepy thank you for that link.

My real question is the following:

If take and connect my SD card to my pc to download the data will it affect the date range of data the doctor's office can download? Will they notice any difference in their date ranges? I don't want to affect their history they have acquired from me so far. I want them to see seamless data history (i.e. to have them not realize I am looking at the data).

I love to analyze data and think this could be very useful for me to see how things are progressing. I don't necessarily want to change values, just see how things are going.

I appreciate everyone's time and look forward to hearing from someone soon.

Thanks,

MMSJ4

I have over two years of data on my card. I usually lock the card before I put it in my computer (tiny slide switch on the side of card).
I have no problem telling my docs that I always monitor my data and modify my settings as I desire.
I also research my masks and other problems here to learn what I am doing.
You may also want to get a copy of Sleepyhead software.
Someone can guide you to the proper links. I don't remember the details.

Hello MMSJ4 and welcome to the board
Every time you put SD card into machine, machine write most recent data on the SD card .. 365 days of therapy and compliance data
http://www.s9morecomfort.com/s9morecomfort/new_en_gb/compliance-management.html

So downloading data does not affect anything and they'll never find out if you don,t tell them

Make sure: 1- "Sleep quality" set to on, if set to usage ... no efficacy data, just usage
2- SD card placed in the S9 during sleep otherwise no detailed data, detailed data written directly on the card
3- downloading ... select "all available data" as shown here, see post #2: http://www.apneaboard.com/forums/Thread-How-to-ResScan-CPAP-Reporting-Software-current-version-4-2
