Coffee

Good morning! Just now noticed my laptop is still synced to Central time, so the time you see on Oscar is actually 2 hours earlier here in Nevada.

Numbers look great today! I remembered to put the memory card in this time.  Big Grinnie

Slight aerophagia this morning.

Have a great Thursday everyone!

Hi Rice,
If the Aerophagia starts acting up too much, you can lower the max pressure a little, as I notice FL are driving the pressure up. It's your decision based on how you feel. Hold steady with current settings, or drop the max pressure to 11.8cm.

Thank you Opal

The aerophagia this morning is unusual. I've been fine until this morning. I'll stay the course unless it becomes more of a normal event, then I'll bump it down. I'm really happy the last 2 mornings have been good numbers!

Have a great day and I'll report tomorrow!

I forgot to mention an interesting experience. I purchased my ResMed Airsense 10 Autoset from Supplier #1 brand new with a nice Father's day sale.

I was leaving for vacation and needed a machine before I left, so I paid 20 bucks for expedited shipping.

Unbeknownst to me, the supplier is stationed in a suburb where I live. It is also a physical store you can walk in and purchase if you choose.

I wish I had of noticed their address first.  Oh-jeez

RE: Rice95 Therapy - Rice95 - 06-24-2021

Came back from mountains and my Cpap was running. It started by itself and the heated hose was on. I turned off the smart start. It must have detected a fan on the room. Either way Im leaving smart set off. The tank was empty and the plate was hot. Ugh
I’m hoping it’s ok? What should I do?

RE: Rice95 Therapy - OpalRose - 06-24-2021

Just a thought... do you think the cleaning staff may have turned it on by accident? They could have bumped it or hit the top on/off button when cleaning.

Other than that, turning the smart start/stop to off would be wise.

It should be ok. Just clean out the tank and check for any burn marks on the heater plate.

RE: Rice95 Therapy - Rice95 - 06-24-2021

No the cleaning staff don’t come in.
It’s been turning back on even with the mask off but our room has a fan and I think it’s detecting air movement.  It looks fine from what I can tell. No burn marks. A dry water puddle outline where water was sitting in the tank had dried. It was hot to the touch. As long as my machine hasn’t suffered I feel ok.

RE: Rice95 Therapy - Crimson Nape - 06-24-2021

Reading your post triggered a memory. I had the Smart Start on and was moving the hose without the mask connected, my AC10 sensed the air movement and turned on. I had totally forgotten about that incident until you posted your problem.

RE: Rice95 Therapy - Rice95 - 06-24-2021

It looks ok. Nothing visually burned on the machine plate or the tank plate.. maybe it wasn’t on long enough, but the plate was hot. Not too hot to handle but hot.
All is well with my machine …Smart Set off permanently. I don’t need it bad enough to risk starting a fire or harming my machine in some way.
