Where can I find it?
Interestingly, Google can only find version 2.4
Many threads here mention that they have "Smart Device Assistant" 3.1 installed, but no one (that I've found) has linked back to the software.
Who produces it, anyway?

I believe someone reported that their CMS-50F was supplied with a card containing a download address.

I have located the install file.
Not wishing to offend the Apnea Board people, I won't post it on the board unless they tell me how/where (not to mention it's 16K and a tad bytes).
Contact me via the board and I will send you a link so you can download it yourself.

In china there is no intellectual property nor protection there of. Anything along those lines are adopted from the west in an attempt to be internationally compatible/foreign relations. IP in china is held as "secrets" by pools or consortiums.
For example, a developer may submit their work to a library and receive the privilege of seeing/using other works in the library. It's been a valid and an effective approach. There are no licences, no legal actions against violators, just community policing in the sense of everyone has to look after the commons.
So it turns this application has no license, imposes no legal restirctions against users (no "click here to accept the agreement" at install time) and no copyright, other than the implicit international copyright most of the world agrees on.
Thus I would personally have no qualms posting the application in any public place, and I'm a former software develope who received legal education from a couple of large corporations regarding protection of software we developed. YMMY.
Needless to say (but still necessary because some dingle hopper [no, not you Crimson Nape] can't read, comprehend, or use common sense) I'm not going to put the application, nor a link, up here. But If I could correspond privately with the board operator, I'd point out that links are not considered the same in the eyes of many other sites, and I'd ask permission to post a link.

Bobkat, did you check inside the box and look for a sticker with a URL and/or a QR code on? The writing is tiny and I had to take a photo of it with my phone to read it.

I was able to locate the file and download v3.1.0.1 (I had a previous version already installed and forgot I had it from before). I have the Virtuox Ultra loaned to me from my provider. I connected the USB, went to File then Connect Device and am getting this error message:

I don't think the Virtuox Ultra is compatible with any of the Contec Oximeters. According to this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VKLJ9PmrFJ8&ab_channel=VirtuCLEANbyVirtuOx the data on the virtuox Ultra must be processed by the company that provided it.
