Pulse-ox finger probe failed - cathyf - 10-03-2021
Last night when I turned on my contec 50f the laser on the finger probe was flashing on and off and the watch face said "probe failed". (I think it happened the previous night, as the data was all choppy and then just stopped.)
Does anyone know of a part number that I can search on? I found one for $35 at pulseoximeter<dot>org, but yikes, that's like half the price I spent on the whole thing! I also found one at the contec web site ($30 and the site is flakey and can't calculate shipping), but that ships from China and the shipping estimate is December.
Ah, well, cheap is often expensive in the long run...

You might try Supplier #19 (Cooper Medical). You will need to wait until the weekday and call them. Their part number is, Part #: 50I-STDPR.
