Nasal Pillow - Leaking & Stability (Swift II vs Anything Else)? - Phil7 - 10-19-2021

After being on an Mirage Swift II for years, which has a baseline leak rate of Zero for me most nights, I've been trying two new Nasal Pillows.   The newer model I've tested the most with is a ResMed P10.   I clean the whole thing nightly (during this testing phase), including cleaning out the tiny vent holes with a toothbrush.  90% of the time I end up with an 8% to 11% baseline leak rate all night long.

I've become suspicious the rigid Swift II "check area part" is the difference.  I've also noticed the nasal pillow on the Swift II sticks in place much more securely, when pressing on the left and right sides of the pillow (left and right vertical movement.

It's starting to seem like the Swift II is still the best nasal mask for me, and I don't see anything else new of consequence that also adds that left/right movement stability.   I was just curious if anyone else had thoughts on this or had been chasing the same issue with newer nasal pillow masks.
