hose disconnect - stevenphilliplowe - 11-04-2021

I have a resmed airsense 10. I have the rescan software. Can I tell how many times my hose was disconnected during the night?

Thanks

Steve

Welcome to Apnea Board,

I'm not too familiar with the program, but it might have that info, my guess is maybe not. This is another case where OSCAR, the free report tool will be certainly able to help.

Can you elaborate a little?  Do you mean how many times you took the mask off?  Like if you got up to use the bathroom?

yes i am trying to see how many times i got up to go to the bathroom. I leave my mask on and disconnect the hose.

I haven't used rescan in a long time. I don't remember if rescan shows leaks. If so then look for large leaks. It's not perfect but it may give you a general idea, unless you typically have large leaks throughout the night.

OSCAR might be more useful for that.

You could always stop the machine when you get up, then restart it when back in bed. It would give you multiple sessions but there would be no doubt if it was nature calling, or just a mask leak.
