Import of SpO2 data from CMS 50F - spin35 - 11-24-2021

I have a CONTEC CMS 50F which never gets found when I try to use the Oximetry wizard to download the data.  I've tried all the different options in the Wizard's drop-down list to no avail.  Even though I've only had the thing since March, it looks like I was sent an old version of the 50F as it reports HW version 2.0.0 and SW version 2.0.6.
I think I'm doing things in the right sequence - CPAP data first, then the SpO2 data, but no luck with the direct download.  I fear that the version may be an issue here.

My work-around is to use the Smart Device Assistant (V3.1.0.1) to download the data to an .SpO2 file but it took me a few attempts to realize that older software versions of Oscar (or its predecessor) does not recognize the file extension ".SpO2" and I needed to rename the file to ".spo2".  This appears to have been fixed in later versions - thank you for that.

Is there some way for me to get the direct download to work between Oscar and my old 50F?  Does anyone know if its possible to do a firmware upgrade to a CMS product?

Contec updated their firmware and the direct import wizard doesn't communicate with this version. As you have discovered, importing the .SpO2 file is the only way.

In fact, HW version 2.0.0 and SW version 2.0.6 is the newer version of the hardware.

Thanks for the clarification. I'm a little confused now as the drop-down list in the Select Oximeter Type has CMS50Fv3.7+/H/I which I was assuming was the later version, and the CMS50D+/E/F was for the earlier versions.

Happy to help with trying to crack the direct access to the later 50F versions. No great experience with this, but I have time on my hands and willing to learn.
