Respironic REMSTAR plus 1005960 mfg start before 2005 - O2neutron - 11-29-2021
The forum instructions for provider setup mode for this device/model are not listed. The ones posted for REMSTAR plus do not apply to this model so through trial & error here is how to enter.
Note: setup menu times out if no entry in about 20 - 25 seconds
1) Turn on power
2) Hold down both ramp & heat buttons simultaneously until elevation # 1-3 appears. Unknown if this sets elevation or impacts ramp timing, ie how long before pressure increases to preset?
3) use either ramp or heat button to change
4) tap power button to save & move to next program mode
5) cm h2o mode (4-10 cm options) appears to be pressure related? Possibly pressure of air, light mode 1 or 0, then unknown mode mine shows 36 unchangeable then next tap returns to a preset number 278.7 (which does not appear changeable). Unknown if this is pressure related but doubtful, I belueve is related to ramp timing? Would be nice to have the real Provider setup manual for this model.
6) unplugged power to exit setup mode.
7) After replugging in, holding down the heat button for 6 seconds allows you to enter heat program mode (1-5). I assume this effects the humidity level going into the tube when connected to a humidifier.
Perhaps forum admin can find "actual setup instructions" for this model and post as there appear to be variations on the REMSTAR plus. This has 3 bottons: power, heat, ramp. Ramp allows changing between two preset pressure levels
