OSCAR Chart Labels Overlap Data - KeepingItSimple - 12-07-2021

Only my fifth day using OSCAR, I have searched the Wiki quite a bit but can't figure out how to put space between the chart labels and the data. Let's see how I am at attaching a screenshot.

Do you have a high-resolution monitor? That can cause this problem on Windows.

If so, go to the OSCAR Troubleshooting Wiki and see the section on "OSCAR Graphics Problems."

Let us know if this is a better solution to your problem.

I admit it's not obvious this is a Windows-related graphics issue!

That was the problem. Never in a million years would I have figured that out.

Thanks

That's about how long it took us to figure it out the first time, and why it's part of the wiki

Not to belabor the topic but… I studied the wiki a lot without finding the answer. Approximately where is that information located in the wiki?

Also, before I made that change, I took a screenshot and posted it here to demonstrate the problem. That screenshot fit well. After I effected the fix, I took a new screenshot, using F12 again, to attach to a post but the resulting image is huge and only captures the top left quarter or so of the picture. I tried undoing the change and taking a new screenshot with the same result but, again, the image is huge and only captures that same quarter. I suspect something else might be awry.

Any suggestions?

Thank you!

I meant to include an example screenshot. Here it is.

We don't have an explanation or fix for that problem yet. I recommend using a different screen capture program, not the built-in F12.

It shows up with the labels overlaying the values on my Surface Pro 3 but I don’t see it on the desktop machine on a large monitor.

I have found the free screen capture program MWSNAP3 is versatile and captures exactly what is displayed on the screen.
