Resmed 10 Vpap doesnt properly record sleep data - elijah1223 - 12-11-2021

Hi,

I just recently bought a VPAP autocurve from a second hand shop to treat my diagnosed uars. The problem I'm experiencing is that when import the data on my sd card to OSCAR the recorded data seems to be disrupted by something. I've tried different sd cards so I think the issue has to do with the VPAP. You can see that small portions of breathing waves are recorded and then the machine abruptly stops recording. I have no leakage and I sleep for at least 1-2 hours without removing my mask during the night. Anyone an idea what this could be and how its is resolved? Would be very helpfull! thanks

Hi elijah1223! - Welcome

If you have the Smart Start feature turned on, please turn it off and see if that corrects your problem.

Something is wrong.  This machine is being identified as an Airsense 10 Autoset, but is in BPAP-S mode.  Is this an Airbreak modified device? If the machine is black and says Airsense Autoset on the lower right panel next to the humidifier, this is a hacked machine. If it is cream color and shows Aircurve 10 Vauto on the lower right panel, it is a Vauto machine and Oscar is not identifying it correctly.

It would help if you minimized the monthly calendar to expose more useful information and organized charts to show Events, Pressure, Flow Limitation, Leaks.   If  you bought a Resmed Aircurve 10 Vauto, then switch to Vauto mode, EPAP min 6.0, IPAP max 12.0, PS 3 or 4.  Are you manually turning off the machine? There is only 37 minutes of use recorded.

It's possible that ResMed has changed the mode values in later model AutoSet versions. I'd like to see a copy of the SD card, elijah1223. You can use OSCAR to create a zip file of the SD card by using Help->Troubleshooting->Create zip of CPAP data card .
Please include your user name in the file name, and upload it to https://www.dropbox.com/request/REp6AH7LCGyeOcXfOokH

Thank you - OSCAR Team

I have uploaded the SD card in the dropbox file. Also I think the software on this machine is different because it has the vauto and s mode. As well as pressure support which i think isnt evident on a normal resmed cpap machine.

Sounds like the Airbreak hack. All Aircurve 10 Vauto machines have Vauto and S mode as well as CPAP mode. Airsense 10 Autoset has CPAP and Auto CPAP modes but not Vauto or S bilevel. I have never seen a genuine Aircurve 10 Vauto identify itself as an Airsense 10 with those modes.

Sorry, for some reason we never received the file. Could you upload it again to my Dropbox folder. Please include your forum name in the zip file name so we know who the file is from.
