Lost my data? [Resvent iBreeze auto] - Catherine416 - 01-25-2022

I completed my first 30 days on my APAP and was instructed to remove th memory card and send it back to the company that supplied the machine, so that they could retrieve my data. They lost the card. Is the data stored on the machine at all or do i have to start over and redo 30 days to get new data on the card? This is really frustrating because it took a while to get in with a specialist and without any data I’m screwed.my appointment is in 10 days. This isn’t the first issue I’ve had with this company.

You have what is called compliance data.  It will show the days -hours used and the total AHI only I believe.  It is all the machine keeps - the SD had the rest.  But that will show you did use the machine the min amount of time and if your AHI is 5 or less.  If you have been using oscar and downloading the nights charts you have it all on oscar.

Yeah. And I back up the OSCAR data in several different places as well. I once had an SD card fail in the machine. I don't know how common that is, but I no longer trust the SD card.

I presume that if you don't/can't use OSCAR, you could just make a backup copy of the SD card on a computer. Of course, I appreciate that the horse has already bolted.

OSCAR is a wonderful program (blush) - but it doesn't read Resvent iBreeze SD cards.

However, the Resvent should be keeping an internal copy of compliance statistics. If so, you can take a new SD card and format it, then place it into your machine, which should immediately write its accumulated data to the card. Then use your computer to make a backup copy on your computer before sending the SD card through the mail.

You made my day, THANK YOU!

How large of a memory card do I need to hold the data?

I would guess any card 1 to 4 GB should suffice. Based off your 30 days of use, a 256 MB or larger probably will work. Please keep in mind that most CPAP machines, except the most recent released models, have firmware that limits an SD card size to 32 GB.

Thank you! It worked and I was able to take the card directly to the equipment provider and get my report.
