Oscar-File-Export Data-CSV Export Wizard-Details - DanEm - 04-06-2022

I went through a detail report from Oscar.

I cannot reconcile values in the report with values in sessions exported both for the same period (Feb 5 to April 4).

Exemple:
Feb 5 to April 4
Hypopnea in detail report = all zeros (0). This suggests I had no hypopnea for the period which is not the case.
Hypopnea Index in Oscar Statistics = 0.67

Feb 5 to April 4
RERA in detail reports = all zeros (0). This suggests I had no RERA for the period which is not the case.
RERA Index in Oscar Statistics = 1.08

Can you align for me data in a Detail exported csv file with data in Sessions and/or Daily exported files?

If you are referring to the time within the parenthesis, Resmed does not provide a time length for hypopneas and evidently neither for RERAs. The ".67" is the portion of the hypopneas based on your sleep duration. Since both occurred the same night, I am guessing your RDI was 1.75 (1.08+.67). Based on these numbers, if you didn't have any other event types, then my quick math shows that you slept for about 7 hours, 26 minutes and had 5 hypopneas and 8 RERAs. Am I close?

The 0.67 is the value of the Hypopnea Index that Oscar stats give for the period Feb 5 to April 4.

In the Details Report exported by Oscar, the columns headers are:
DateTime, Session, Event, Data/Duration

One of my line reads:
2022-04-05T14:39:47,    1649176440,    Hypopnea,    0

So, the value in column Data/Duration for hypopnea on April 05 at time 14:39:47 is zero (0) .

When I look at the Daily View in Oscar, on April 05, at 14:39:47 there is one recorded hypopnea event.

When I look at all the values under Data/Duration for hypopnea in the Details Report CSV file exported by Oscar, every and each value for hypopnea is zero (0).  For Feb 5 to April 14,

Does that mean that for the period from Feb 5 to April 4  I had 0 hypopnea, of course not.

So, what is the correlation between the data in the Details Report and the data in Oscar Daily View for all the indicators ( Apnea,  ClearAirway,  EPAP,  FLG,  Hypopnea,  Obstructive,  Pressure,  RERA).

The Details Report gives you individual events, which appear as lines in the Event Flags panel in OSCAR. As Crimson Name said, Hypopnea events (and RERA) are reported by ResMed as having a length (in seconds) of 0, which is relayed by OSCAR. The daily view is giving you a rate in Events/Hour, so, for example, count(Hypopnea)/sum(session hours in day).

Thank you Kappa.

In other words, each hypopnea and RERA events are entries with zero (0) in the Data/Duration column.

What about obstructive events, it should be the same but is not. What do the values in the obstructive Data/Duration column stand for?

In this reading:

DateTime                      Session          Event            Data/Duration
2022-04-05T04:33:41    1649139900    Obstructive    23

What does the 23 mean?

OSCAR reports the data the CPAP machine provides. For ResMed machines, the supplied duration is always zero for H and RERA. But it is duration in seconds for OA.

If you want to know why ResMed reports it that way, you'll have to ask Resmed!

Thanks Guy

As you know, talking to Resmed is a waste of time.
They don't care about users.
I was told that here and experienced it myself.

Based on your reply, I conclude that all events are in fact one line in the details report.
Weather they have or not a value under the Data/Duration column.
Those would be ClearAirway, Hypopnea, Obstructive and RERA.

Unless I am mistaking, a cluster of those would be a signal to get.

If I am right, then it is a matter of defining a cluster in terms of minimum events within a defined duration.
Those are values I would like to get.
Can someone define in such a way a cluster?

You can see where this newbie is going :- )
