Do you use a Cervical pillow? - Sleepy Willy - 05-11-2022 Forgive me if that is heresy, I'm new. I know a lot of you use the cervical collars, but I think that might annoy me. Baby steps. I just purchased the IKSTAR pillow from Amazon, so we will see. Do you have a favourite pillow? RE: Do you use a Cervical pillow? - CorruptAlligator - 05-11-2022 I use a cheap firm pillow from Target. I didn't have much luck with the pillows from Amazon. I tried them all, and realized that they are nothing but gimmicks. RE: Do you use a Cervical pillow? - Sleepy Willy - 05-11-2022 Yeah, I wanted to try one of the fancy pillows, but I have trouble laying flat. I normally use two pillows, but decided to try one last night, but that gave me instant neck issues, so I cancelled the fancy pillow. I'll have to try something else to prevent any chin tucking that might be happening. RE: Do you use a Cervical pillow? - Sleeprider - 05-11-2022 For some reason, I have seen generally worse results from members with "positional" apnea using pillows that are often labeled "ergonomic" or "cervical" memory foam pillows. The one you chose has a low center, and the neck ridge does not run all the way across. It may or may not work, and you should know in a few nights. Let us know how it goes. RE: Do you use a Cervical pillow? - Sleepy Willy - 05-11-2022 I tried using a single pillow last night, but I'm not able to lay flat on a surface because most of my vertebrae are fused. So no fancy pillow for me. |
