cool cpap air by freezing humidifier or something eles? - watertrails - 05-11-2022

Now with hot humid weather id like to cool the air instead of heat it as in winter. I have the humidifier turned off as i dont need or want it on now. I experimented with putting only some mini ice cubes in water container and leaving the humidifier off. THis still somehow added more unneeded and unwanted moister to my nasal mask. But did seem to cool the ir some. some. I was going to look for some nontoxic plastic container to freeze water in that would fit in the container. The room is the warmest when i first go to sleep and cools some as the night goes on so even cooling the air at the beginning of the night would help. I was thinking of simply putting the empty humidifier water container in the freezer doing the day but was concerned if freezing it might crack it. Anyone ever try this or freezing something else to to put in the water container to cool the air? flat rock or Something ?

People have used ice-cubes or even frozen the humidifier chamber to get cooler air. Keep in mind that freezing the chamber can crack it, so my suggestion is to just use ice cubes.
