OK Here is another case of the machine running wild, like it has a mind of its own..
I can see NO reason for the base pressure changes, nor the high pressure it started doing at the end of this sleep cycle and it woke me up.

The machine looks at a lot more than just whether you have an apnea event or not. It's not quite clear what it looks at, but it probably looks at the "squareness" of the airflow waveform, respiration rate, tidal volume, etc. It apparently looks at some partial snoring and flow limitations that don't show up as events.
The exact details are probably company secrets.
Some of the newer APAP machines are pretty good at adjusting the pressure upwards before you actually experience an apnea. I think they look for changes in the airflow waveform shape.
The ASV machines may also decide to pump up the pressure instantly to stop a central apnea in progress. If it succeeds, it may not record a CA in the log.
If you look at the airflow and pressure waveforms at the points where it increased pressure, you may find some disturbed breathing.
Or it may just be running away.

he doesnt have a resmed autoset machine but maybe it will help "learn" him something about auto pressures on devices?
and that doesnt look like a machine gone wild to me..looks like your autosv automatically ramped up the pressure to where it sensed it needed to be,,which is what is is exactlysupposed to do and why you bought it.
your ahi ca,oa, hyp are all still looking good.....your graph doesnt look so much diffeent from mine every night I have used it so far and we have the same machine
