AirSense 11 Turning Off Humidifier? - CChamp - 06-09-2022

I have the Airsense 11 and due to temperatures and humidity where I live am thinking of turning off the Humidifier. Could someone please tell me if this is a good or bad idea and exactly what I need to do to stop using it? I don't want to miss something and end up with bigger problems. Thanks

We all have differant needs when it comes to humidification.

Some of us require a lot of added humidity, others little or none. For some it's season dependant, add humidity in the drier winter months, turn it of in the more humid seasons.

To turn it off:
  • Empty, wash and dry your tank
  • In the menus:
  • Ensure Climate Control is set to Manual
  • Find Humidity Level, set to Off

If the Climate options are not available in the User Menus, you need to set the Patient View Level to Advanced in Clinical mode

Thanks, I have read something before (I Think) about turning the heating plate off, is there a setting for that or is it in the steps that you outlined.

It's my understanding that the humidity is controlled by the heating plate (warm water evaporates more), so turning humidity to Off should turn off the heating plate.
