A hybrid P30i FFM exist ? - koy23 - 06-26-2022
So not to write long paragraphs, due to surgeries etc, I need FFM to not keep getting chipmonk cheeks with my taped mouth, I'm currently using F30 with pad a cheek which I could use up to 11.6 IPAP before chipmonk cheeks kick in, issue is many nights nose part start leaking, yhe pad-a-cheek needs readjusting, etc..
Also the neck straps that hold the mouth part, need to be tight so no leaks, but sometimes they tighten on my artery ir back of my neck where I have issues already.
Best mask? Dreamwear nasal, but any pressure over 7 and I get the chipmonk cheeks, sucks! So I recently tried the P30i, hoping for different result, I had bad experience before with nasal pillows hurting my nostrils, but surprisingly found the p30I soft enough to sleep with, BUT pressure didn't work, again chipmonk cheeks till I lowered it to 7.
Fir FFM I tried also the Dreamwear FFM: worse leaks, the F&P vitera less leaks but my left nostril has deviated septum so It presses on my nose bridge and closes the nostril when I sleep on my right side, sucks again!
So I was searching for a FFM with nose pillows and found only 2, one no name and the Resmed mirage liberty; from the pics and reviews the nose pillows don't look as soft as the P30i.
So I'm here asking is there a hack? Or something else I don't know I could use?

Here's a link to my results using an F&P Evora Full. It's a very comfortable full face mask. I bought one. It's mine for use. $200 CDN. I could wear it all night...however, I haven't had luck with leaks. It would suit someone with more patience or a different shaped face.

I wanted to use this mask alone, without any pads or straps or hair pins. No success yet. When I'm more patient I'll try again. It's worth a look. It's really well made.

I tried a borrowed F30i ffm. It was awful for me.
I bought and tried a F&P Evora Full. It's a much better mask.
I have used some Dreamwear nasal pillow masks. Several years worth.
Produced a bump under my nose that required surgery to remove.
I've tried nasal masks. N30i and P30i modified/hacked with the Dreamwear bottom-back of head velcro strap. I bought the N30i for a bargain price. didn't work for me.
Suggest you read the mask reviews on this site. Perhaps you'll find the answer there. I've read them all...but filtered by my own needs.
Tried to answer/recommend a better ffm Read your question wrong.
