Dreamstation 2 not writing data to SD card - pjstout - 06-28-2022
I have a new Dreamstation 2 that replaced my DS1 in September 2021. It did not come with a new SD card, so I took my old SD card from the DS1 and inserted it into my DS2. When Oscar became available for DS2s, I tried to get Oscar v1.4 to read the card, which it does, but only data from the original DS1 & Oscar tells me the data is old... it seems like my new DS2 is not writing any data to the card. I can access all the data on my DS2 via the Dreammapper software, but I'd like to see it analyzed in Oscar which is more comprehensive.
Question 1: does anyone know how to get the DS2 to write the new data to my SD card?
Question 2: do I need a NEW SD card for the DS2 to use?
I have searched the forums but cannot find any equivalent threads supporting my issue. Thanks in advance!

Yes, the advice in this link worked for me.
I also had received a new replacement DS2 advanced Auto CPAP that came without an SD card. I wanted to use my new machine right away, so I put the old SD in DS2 machine that had my DS1 information on it.
I went and ordered a new SD card, but it didn’t arrive right away. And I thought my sleep doctor would want my SD card to review how I was doing. (It turned out, they didn’t need to look at my SD card and got the compliance information directly from the DME. )
When DS2 was included in the latest OSCAR release 1.4, I only uploaded the new SD card. Later I asked if I could get my old data and was given some ideas to try and it worked.
1. Set up a new profile in OSCAR.
2. Load your old SD card into Oscar
3. Then if you have data on another SD card with DS2 information, load it to OSCAR in this new file.
4. If you had data from an O2 sensor, you would need to reload the data in new OSCAR profile

If you look on your SD card, you should see a folder named P-Series. Within that, you should see another folder with 8 characters.
What folder name (or names) do you see there?
