Dreamstation 2 Auto CPAP Advanced firmware - arnold1205 - 07-11-2022

Is there any place we can get the firmware for the Dreamstation 2 Advanced firmware?

It appears that the humidifier message that keep mysteriously popping up can be resolved with a firmware update, but waiting for our DME supplier will take ages.

This is the second replacement CPAP machine for this same issue, last time around we ended up just exchange for a new unit, and that was only 3 months ago.

In times past, we had access to the Philips firmware updates.  But they've chosen to hide those links from patients now.

Part of their "keep medical data out of the hands of patients" campaign, I suspect.   [see here]

Philips is now standing in direct opposition the Apnea Board philosophy of "patient empowerment".   Annoyed-and-disappointed

Does anyone know what the current firmware version actually is?

the answer is: v1.0.7.xxxx

I think the only choice, if you really want a firmware update for the DS2 is to try a local DME or supplier.

Yeah, that's correct. And...it's painful.

I wouldn't upgrade to v1.0.7. It seemed to make the "phantom disconnects bug" wayyyyyyyyy worse.
