BiPap Auto M Series beeps and stops working - sdsimm - 07-15-2013

I have an BiPap Auto M Series and if I have a mask leak the machine will beep once then shut down. If I have three or more mask leaks in a night I have to up-plug and reset the unit or it will beep continually. I do not have any of the leak or auto shut off set to ON.
Both are OFF.
Any ideas... is my unit dying... I have three months before I can get a new one via insurance...

Hi sdsimm,
WELCOME! to the forum.!
Hang in there for answers to your questions, I'm not sure what would cause that, but someone will be able to help you soon.

Do you have the user manual or the clinician manual? What does a single beep mean in that situation? One or both of those manuals will discuss the beeps. You can get the Clinician Manual here:

In the meantime, contact your insurance and ask if they can't just help you early since yours is dying. There has to be some sort of appeals process.
