Hose cover - Rice95 - 08-27-2022

Good Morning! Coffee

Are there any hose covers out there that do not add too much weight to the hose? I have not had much luck.

Thanks

I switched from fleece covers to the "ResMed Zippered Tubing Wrap."
Search Supplier #1 for Item # 33963.  It's on sale for $12.99

Hi Opal!

Does it add substantial weight?

Therapy has been good. I'm using a cervical pillow over the brace and its been working great. Numbers in the 1's.

Another question :
I’m getting rain out from my heated hose when our room gets cool at night. Do I really need a hose cover or can this be fixed in settings ?

If you have a heated hose, you can turn up the temerature or reduce the humidity setting.

If you don't have the heated hose, all you can do is reduce the humidity... or turn up the room temp Big Grin

No, it's doesn't seem heavy at all. It's more of a silky material rather than fleece.
The zipper makes it easier to slip on.

Thank you pholynk

Did you mean turn up the temp in the heated hose?

If I do that will it reduce the comfort humidity I want for dry mouth?

Also thank you Opal. I followed the link to the hose cover you got but didn't see one. Can you PM me the one you got?

The ClimateLine hose is detected automatically and then yo can see a temperature setting for the hose.

The percentage relative humidity in your mouth is controlled by the temperature in your nose and mouth. The increased hose temperature prevents condensation in the hose, and so preserves the amount of water vapour in the air. It doesn't really heat the air as it flow through.

Ok, so what would be the best setting on my Autoset to prevent rainout (from cool room)and at the same time give me the comfort I need in my throat and mouth.

I have purchased a couple of cotton flannel hose covers on Etsy.
