Import to OSCAR from EncorePro2 or EncoreBasic or INFINEER smartcard reader. - KeepSmiling - 09-12-2022

Windows 10 system

EncorePro2

EncoreBasic 2.8.0

I was able to get both programs running and extract data off the SmartCard with an INFINEER reader.

I now want to import data to OSCAR.

The MSSQL encorero2 DATA file is empty.

Does anyone know where this data is stored?

Can the data even be used by OSCAR.

Can OSCAR read the old REMstar smartcards?

Unless it is an SD card, I believe that you are out of luck on the OSCAR thing. A lot of the data is now stored in the user's AppData\Local directory area. The path will look something like this: "C:\Users\KeepSmiling\AppData\Local" If you don't see it, try the Roaming directory too.

There was support for the RmStar once, long a go, in a galaxy far distant...

It hasn't been included in later versions of SleepyHead nor any version of OSCAR, so I have no idea if it would work if you compiled your own version.
