I downloaded the Resmed software a few days ago and let me tell you something it's awesome. Yes it is very helpful if you know how to read the numbers and information. yes I think everyone with the right knowledge and wise decisions can benefit from it. Thank you.

willyboy, welcome, I use the same machine and mask and use sleepyhead but also have Res Scan, I like sleeyhead better, I take the data off once a week on a Sunday and analysis the data for the week. When I see my sleep specialist, yearly, I take my data with me and tell him exactly what is going on with me, that's taking our therapy into our own hand, good luck with your journey and ask as many questions as you like, we were all new once

Thank you dear members for welcoming me, I appreciate it. I will be asking a couple of questions in the near future to try and understand some of the data (that I don't get very well) from the more experienced board members and as I understand the numbers better I will be talking about my own experience. You might want to have a look at the ResScan Interpretation Guide for a reasonably good description of what the data means.
Feel free to ask about anything you still don't understand.
